The Homeowner’s Vision
The original kitchen told a different story. It was closed off from the rest of the house, with tile countertops and outdated finishes that made the space feel tired. Most importantly, the design completely missed the opportunity to connect with the sweeping bay views just beyond the sliding doors.

We started by removing visual barriers to create an open floor plan that enhances sight lines and fosters a sense of flow throughout the space. A striking large central island, finished in a bold navy, serves as a perfect focal point for entertaining, inviting gatherings and conversation. To achieve a modern yet timeless aesthetic, we combined crisp white cabinetry with warm light wood tones, creating a harmonious balance.
Custom details, such as frosted glass uppers, open shelving for displaying cherished items, and integrated appliances, contribute to a clean, cohesive look. We also opted for a patterned tile backsplash, adding subtle texture and dimension that elevates the design. To top it all off, we incorporated layered lighting with statement pendants that not only illuminate but also anchor the kitchen as the true centerpiece of the home, making it a warm and inviting space for family and friends alike.
